Alltpower is located in an 8,000 acre estate in the Scottish Highlands. An ideal location for renewable energy , forestry, carbon capture projects and holidays exploring the Highlands.
Renewable Energy
The Highlands of Scotland have one of the highest levels of rainfall on the planet which creates a rich water resource. Allt Power seeks to develop this natural renewable resource by building low environmental impact, clean, green, hydroelectric projects.
Environmental
Allt Power is engaged in developing forestry and peatland restoration projects. These projects enhance the natural environment by restoring habitats and reducing erosion. They also naturally capture carbon.
You can do this: Highland Holidays and Activities
We have one cottage currently available for rent on our Kinlochewe estate in the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Two further cottages are in the process of refurbishment or planning and development. Deer stalking experience is available via our sustainable deer management business which also supports the local economy.
Cottage Rental
Well appointed three-bedroom cottage set in the Scottish Highlands. In an excellent location for walks and adventures this cottage was featured in the Hollywood film ‘Stardust’. Enjoy beautiful river and valley views of the Kinlochewe countryside. There are restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby, and activities such as boat trips and whale watching cruises off the West Coast area of Gairloch.
Deer Stalking
The majestic red stag are the monarchs of the glens, however, without natural predators their numbers need management in order to preserve a healthy and diverse environment. The estate conducts deer stalking which combines population control with one of the most ancient hunting activities of the Highlands. The meat is all supplied into the food chain as probably the freest of free-range meat available!
We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in the Professor's Cottage. It was finished to a very high standard, exceptionally clean and we felt that much consideration had gone into making sure that all our holiday needs were catered for. We have stayed in a lot of holiday properties and this is by far the best - thank you to everyone who made this such a memorable trip. Superb isolated location but good to know help was on hand if needed!

How Allt Power Ltd came about.
Allt Power Ltd was founded to generate clean, green, renewable energy from suitable highland ‘allts’ the word which means streams or burns in Gaelic.
Existing and future projects are designed to have the lowest practical environmental impact while providing energy for a sustainable future.
